1917 and The Irishman

I’ve recently watched The Irishman and 1917. Check out my reviews at The Ham Palace on I-tunes and Podbean. You can click on the link here to listen to it:

Really enjoyed them both. Great cinematography from the great Roger Deakins. Sam Mendes and Roger can never go wrong. Gotta admit it reminded me of my own time in the Army Reserve. The great thing about this movie as that you feel like you’re on both soldier’s journey. In some ways it’s a lot like Saving Private Ryan but with out the characterization.
