Storyboards will be developed soon for Shooting Rocks witch will begin production in 2012. Several shorts will follow. One of the films will deal with a character seen in Shooting Rocks. Another could deal with dating and flirting.
These short films will follow a trial marketing campaign in a fast post-production marketing campaign.
The plan is to challenge Lightning to live up to its name and produce the films, make promotional material (poster, dvd case, etc...), market (submit to multiple film festivals and online screening) in rapid succession in a period of 6 months to a year.

Blog Construction
Ugh, that title. I need to make it bigger and bolder. Soon I will be making a logo for this company. I'm in the re-writing stage of Shooting Rocks. I had some great ideas for a repeating theme throughout it. I also plan to draw the storyboards immediately after the re-written script. Perhaps, it will all be done by the end of the year. The theme will heavily involve trying to escape the past.

Movement and Momentum
I'm currently in the process of my second rewrite of my book 4th Hour and starting up some massive re-writes for 3 of my screenplays, including Shooting Rocks. I plan to start Shooting Rocks early next year (2012). I also will start to write 2 other short film scripts to accommodate my short film trilogy which will prepare me for my first feature after that.
My hope is, that by using this blog and my over two as well, I can maintain an online presence in which to launch trailers for my films and support my entertainment business no matter where I'm at. So when I eventually have to become homeless and walk across the nation I can stop in a library once and a while, get on a computer and say, 'yep, Lighting is still alive. You can make me poor and kill me world, but you can't kill my dream!'

First Post! - Audio and Video
Finally, my first post for Lightning Productions. Yes, Lightning Productions has resin from the grave like a phoenix from the ashes. What's next, my very own website? By the time I do websites will be passe.
When I first started Lightning I was in college. As part of my assignment in my graphic design class, I decided to make a logo for what would be my future film production studio. Well, low and behold now is that future. With this blog, I plan to lay the foundation for my studio and to steady produce and market various films, podcasts, books, comics, comedy, and anything else under the sun that has to do with me entertaining America. Hopefully, after that, the world! (Spoken like a true maniac)
Feel free to browse the site. I put up most of my stuff from YouTube. Check out Biology: 101 - The Ten Minute Version or if you really want to see what the film is made of, check out the film in its entirety in four parts on top of the blog. I recommend just going to YouTube at that point. Check it out, it's a flawed film but I think it has some funny moments and potential to be made into a full feature someday soon.
