While the writing is underway for the next Biology : 101 project, I'm currently finishing a home dvd slideshow for my brother's dog Krypto who past away some time ago. This project has been very late in finishing due to technical difficulties and the loss of video footage. Artwork for the DVD is being worked on at this time.
One on the things that I found interesting while looking through a magazine is the new Black Magic camera. It's a small photo-camera-like video camera. It sells for only about $2000. I'm normally not very keen on small photo cameras because of stability issues but the low price, sleek design and quality impressed me. Stay tuned for the completion of the Krypto The Superdog DVD, due out by Christmas. I will also keep you updated of the new Biology : 101 script.

Biology 101: Radio Documentary
Plans have been put in motion to write a script for a radio mockumentary. The script will encompass famed Biology professor Bruce Bailey and his unorthodox teaching methods and the controversial rumors of his exploits at Central Forest University, Michigan.

Iron Man 3
I've just recently watched Iron Man 3. Although a good film, it's hard for me to shake the comedic plot twist with the main villain in it.
SPOILERS START HERE:
Let me start off that I'm a huge supporter and fan of Shane Black. I mean, I've watched the Lethal Weapon series more then a dozen of times. That being said, I still must voice my opinion.
I mean to me, Ben Kingsley playing Mandarin is such a better villain then
Guy Pierce. He was too yuppie to feel that much of a threat. Even with the decent fight scene at the end I couldn't help but feel a little cheated. Mandarin could have used his magic rings that he would've incorporated into trying to defeat Tony. They could've done a more scientific approach and had the rings be sensors, remote devices, holographic devices, unexplained tech that could've been used as 'magic'. I felt that opportunity was wasted here.
The rest of it was good. Iron Man saving a group of people descending in the sky was well shot and somewhat believable. Iron Man whizzing in the air while half suited up and using an uzi was a Shane Black kind of moment.
The different suits coming to Tony's aid was a lot of fun. It showcased a lot of different looks for the suit.
Overall, I give it an 8 out of 10. I was dangerously close to a 7.5 due to the crazy Mandarin plot twist.

California to New York Documentary
Although production has slowed for my film projects due to the tax season. A new project about my exile from California to
New York is in its first stages of editing.
The documentary will be my most vulnerable and open project to date. It will accompany the series of podcasts labeled
The Ham Palace: The Lost Tapes. They are available now
on Podbean.
It will reveal one man's quest for a new beginning in life.
Various ideas are also being considered for a series of short films which will eventually lead up to a full fledged feature film.
